   Part 3 of the trilogy. So some most of you I think I’ve actually managed to get through all three of these and so it’s really grateful that you’ve managed to do that. So if you remember on the first one, the main thing that we were looking at was the return of Jesus and what we said was the Lord Jesus Christ himself isn’t coming back, secretly and surreptitiously. He is coming back in the Clouds Of Heaven. Even he will appear in the Clouds Of Heaven. We will see him coming.

The point is, the Lord Jesus Christ is going to appear in the Clouds Of Heaven and we will see him if you think about it.

   That’s why. Told to look up. And sometimes, you know, in our lives. It’s very easy to look down, especially when we see all of the horrors of things that are going on in the world. You know, we this country is lurched from crisis to crisis, hasn’t it just over the last few weeks as a sense of, I don’t know the queen, put it when she gave her speech the other day, but you know, there’s a sense of crisis in this country and people can sort of feel that. Now the point is, though, We need to be looking up and not getting depressed with these things. Yes, I think we do Vex our souls, when we look at what is going on?

So we shouldn’t switch everything off and go into sort of some sort of cocoon and hope that it all goes away. We should stay alert.

   We should stay watchful. We should keep looking at. Is things that God and the Lord Jesus Christ told us to look for. And the biggest one of the lot is look up because you’re going to see him coming and isn’t that great that we lift our spirits. And you know something the reason I started with that one, it’s so important to get the vision, right? If our vision isn’t, right, if our vision is slightly off beam, lots of things don’t fall into place. It’s absolutely crucial.

   That we do understand that Jesus is going to appear in the Clouds Of Heaven, that we will have a time of period of time before. We are actually gathered by the angels caught up and taken to Jerusalem, they will be that time Gap. So it was really important for me to get this, right?

   Because this is the vision. This is what we need to have in our hearts and Minds. The second thing then is though was putting together, the jigsaw puzzle of the events as they Eat up to that point. And this is what we did last week. Yeah. And what we did was to have a look at the three stages of God’s judgment on this Earth. And so we said look, there’s a, there’s a stage one, there’s a stage to, there’s a stage three and each of them are different conflicts that are going to occur all with Israel at the center or really would you rusul? Mmm at the center of each one of those conflicts? The first one was all to do with Israel’s immediate and surrounding neighbors, they all and it’s all mentioned in Psalm 83 there.

So what we’re going to do tonight, is I said to you, I promised you in fact, I think, right at the beginning of all of these talks that on this one, I would give you as much proof as I can, that we are living in the very last days and that the return of Jesus is imminent. And remember, I said the word imminent in my mind means days weeks months or maybe a few years, it does not mean decades or centuries or Millennia so we’re right on the cusp of it. So there’s four things that we’re going to have. We got time might have to cut some of this short, we’ll all your might have or just fallen asleep in the heat. Okay.

And therefore what evidence is there right now, that stage one could happen. So that’s what we’re going to look at to start with. Then we’re going to look at this phrase the time of the end because it seems to me that that’s a good phrase to look at if we’re trying to pinpoint. Are we at the time of the end?

And if we’ve got chance, I’ll do this Final Countdown part to it as well. So, let’s dance off looking at this stage one. Remember, we have just recapped it really for you. But stage one is Israel’s immediate and surrounding relatives as I’ve called them there. Because most of them are related to Israel because they’re arobin descent.

I’m paraphrasing. Some of this verse For look, this is what they say. These people. Come, let us cut them off from being a nation that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. Now, remember that?

    So this is these people who are the people, well, the listed up here and it’s really interesting because they’re all tribes, all of them are tribes. So you’ve got the Tabernacles of Edom and the ishmaelites Moab and the hungarians and Gable, and Armin, and amalek, and the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre, they’re all tribes or peoples within Nations.

We know that because it says in the same chapter in Isaiah 17 that the Forty Five Towns of Northern Israel would be destroyed.

Now amazingly, if you are living in America not that long ago and you would put on your evening news, this is what you would have watched.

The crisis, in Syria, may be more than just a current foreign policy problem with some seeing signs of biblical Prophecies of the apocalypse and the events that are unfolding overseas. Passages in the Old Testament, even make reference to Damascus. Falling into ruin sparking worldwide conflict.

    At some point in the eschatological future the end times. Isaiah 17 verse 1 says, Damascus will be removed from being a city one translation says, it will cease to be a city now. Damascus has been attacked. It’s been conquered throughout history but it’s never been removed as a city. It’s one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities on the face of the Earth first mentioned in the Bible in Genesis and now we’re still talking about it today. Yeah, you know and wow this is incredible America are far more open to talking about Bible than ever, we are in this country. So we don’t get this sort of debate on on our news. But I was amazed to see that, but of course, you know, they’re looking at the events that are happening right now in Syria and they’re seeing rightly.

Now, what I’ve also done, I’ve gone back over the last few months to give you some more evidence that stage one. Could happen at any point in time. So remember stage one, at the surrounding Nations coming against Israel predominantly. We’re talking about a war between Israel and Syria that Israel wins and Syria dramatically losses. And we also see the Palestinians and has Fuller, especially coming in and, and fighting against them according to Psalm 83, and that’s my viewpoint when I’m looking at headlines, that’s what strike strike something in my mind.     We should all be looking and Investigating these things and watch them as they happen. Now, the other thing that I wanted to look at is this phrase the time of the end. Now the reason I thought that’s a good phrase to look at is because well, you can’t have two times of the end really Canyon.

When we look at the verses that say about the time of the end, it should just as we’ve done with Syria and Hezbollah, it should like start lining up. Don’t you think?

Every every last one of them doesn’t matter. Whether you want to look at the Greek or the heat, whatever you want to do. These are the only times that phrase comes up in. Daniel chapter 8 verse 17.

Now, I don’t know exactly what Daniel saw. Maybe he did have some vision of the world in which we If right now.

    But I can’t think of a better way of an ancient Prophet who had some Vision. However, it was of the future in 11 words because that’s all it is to describe the world in which he could see. In this Vision, he wouldn’t be able to say, well, I uh, the people were using mobile phones and people were flying in airplanes and there was people flying at, you know, 80 miles an hour, past me.

    And at speeds, I can’t even begin to dream. I know. The vision that he saw caused him to ride many, shall run to and fro and knowledge shall be increased. Isn’t that amazing? Has that ever? Been look until the last 60 or 70 Years? Everybody went around in horse and cart, For 6900 know for five thousand nine hundred years, people have gone around at about the speed of a horse.

    That’s like 99% of history. People have gone around at the speed of a horse. Daniel says, no no many again, the word literally means to rush backwards and forwards. I don’t know about you, but I’m driving to work at at the speed limit. I’m still doing 70 miles an hour. It’s still an incredible speed that we are hurtling a longer and do you not think we live in the time when knowledge has increased?

    And our knowledge will be even grave there while so it might, but surely, we can see that actually, we don’t keep going much faster than we go and the knowledge even though it’s increasing as going to reach a point, when the Lord Jesus Christ has to intervene we end up blowing off. Sounds up with the technology that we create so that was Daniel 12 verse 4. Are you coping in this heat?

    By the way just about I’m gonna have to wife myself here. I might have a glass of water, right? Change of tack change of tack because Daniel changes tack, we’re going to have a look now at these two verses here we can have a look at Daniel 11 verse 35 that we read and we can have a look at Daniel 11 verse 40 because both of those verses very close to each other, talk about the time of the end.

    So if you’ve got your Bibles open I think you might still be there in. Daniel 11, which is great. I need to quickly quickly set the scene about these verses because Daniel 11, verse 35, the astute amongst you will know that 34 verses came before that. Yeah. It’s that’s just how it is. So you might say, well, we’re leaving straight in at verse Five and onwards what about the bit before? Very quickly, I’m not gonna do the whole chapter but in Daniel 11 verses 21 to 34.

    This man is being spoken about this man here specifically has been spoken about from Daniel 11 verse 21 to 34. Anybody know who this man is? Now, it’s not Ptolemy, Antiochus. Epiphanes is the right answer and you Apis epiphanies was the ancient King of the North. His base was in Syria. He lived around about 175 BC and he died in 164 BC you started raining in 1275 BC died in 164 BC and he was their head of the seleucid Empire.

    So the seleucids don’t have to really remember this name but anyway He was a very vile contemptuous nasty piece of work and God has a lot to say quite a few verses there in Daniel 11 about this man, he persecuted the Jews. Like, you wouldn’t believe it. He massacred many, many thousands and thousands of Jews because he came down from Syria into Israel. In fact, he went beyond Israeli ended up in Egypt at one point. He forbade the the The worship of Judaism. He said, no, you can’t practice Judaism at all. If I catch you doing it, you’re dead. He built a an idol in God’s Temple, that was there in Jerusalem, and he built and an idol to Zeus and he sacrificed a pig there in that in God’s Temple. God doesn’t like this man.

    He’s persecuting his people, his During them is forbidding them to worship very unpleasant, man. And he was, he was called the King of the North, and he’s based in Syria, just North as we know of Israel. And that’s the enough detail for it for just for now. And but then you come to verse 35. So the previous verse is all about this. One man, verse 35 of Daniel, which we read, is says, some of the wires will fall victim to persecution in this way. They will be refined, and cleansed, and made pure. Pure now look.

    Until the time of the end. For the appointed time is still to come. So there’s a gigantic Gap in the prophecy after Antiochus epiphanes leaves the scene. There’s now this huge gap up until the time of the end brother John Thomas in LPS. Israel actually writes these words he says there is a break in the prophecy while there is a break in the prophecy because you go from Antiochus, in roughly 200 BC and here we are in Canteen at the time of the end, that’s how big the Gap is, by the way, don’t be alarmed at that. There’s many gaps in prophecies like that many, many gaps. And the reason that God’s put a big gap in is because he says he is this guy, Antiochus, epiphanes. This is what he is.

    This is what he did. And at the very end of time, there’s going to be another chap, very similar to Antiochus epiphanes.
