Welcome to good Chris Delphian talks. I’m Levi, I’m Chris, I’m Gdiston and I’m Brian. Thank you for joining us this week on this podcast. We select one talk a week to help us get the Bible in our Daily News feed. Each week we post a talk that we previewed from suggestions sent in by listeners from around the world. Then we record a short intro beforehand as a personalized recommendation to you on why we are sharing the talk. And now let’s talk more about this week’s talk. Welcome to the good Chris Adelphian Talks podcast. This is brother Brian.

  2. 0:56

This week’s talk is a class by brother Andy Walton called The Wonderful Number. The class comes from a YouTube video that was posted over 10 years ago that was most likely associated with his talks that were run for the Weekly World Watch that brother Andy has spearheaded. And in this instance, I would highly recommend that you watch the video itself for the slides that go along with it, as it’s much more helpful to see this one than to just hear it.

  3. 1:32

And we’ll include the link to the video itself in the description. Brother Andy tackles the breakdown of how God uses numbers in the Bible to Rep, to repeat themes within patterns, and to reveal His promise almost through the code, of what each number comes to symbolize. I’m sure many other folks have nailed down, you know how connected all of Scripture is through the numerical use of a Hebrew letter having a specific number and what it all adds up to. And this is just another really enthusiastic and succinct intro into how astounding the chosen words of Scripture really are. I will say there might be a couple of conclusions that are bit of a stretch and they might be right. With God’s precision, nothing would surprise me. That being said, I do think that this would be a good one to pass along to folks who you feel kind of need to have a wow moment. As far as you know, Oh yeah, you know, give me proof that the Bible really is inspired to be like, boom. Listen to that.

  4. 2:54

My favorite part is definitely the end. It’s worth waiting for so long class, grind it out, get to the end. This would also be a good one for folks to discuss online or in your ecclesias. After listening, you know what other patterns are we able to find through the use of numbers? So, as always, we hope that this strengthens your faith and brightens your day.

  5. 3:21

Brother Andy Walton, the wonderful number. So this is a subject we’re going to look at this morning, the wonderful number. Anybody want to tell me what what you think? We’re going to be looking at numbers. We’re going to be looking at numbers. We’re going to be considering two things, OK. One is that numbers are symbolic in the Bible. So I’m going to hopefully show you that instead of just reading say #2 or #3 or #4 which we can, and there’s nothing wrong with doing that at all, I’m hopefully going to show you that all of the numbers in the Bible have got a deeper symbolic meaning. Now, do you have to know the deeper symbolic meaning? Well, no, you could just read the Bible and ignore the deeper symbolic meaning.

  6. 4:11

But of course, if you understand the deeper symbolic meaning, I think it helps in a deeper level of understanding of the scriptures and sort of binds things together even tighter. So I think it’s really worth us having a look at this. The second thing I’m going to hopefully show you, and this gets pretty mind blowing to be honest with you, I don’t know if you’re aware, I’m sure you are, is that every single letter in the Bible has got an equivalent number.

  7. 4:38

So if you look in the Hebrew, every single Hebrew letter and there’s 22 of them has got an equivalent number. And every single letter in the Greek has got an equivalent number. And therefore you could actually have the whole Bible just as numbers, couldn’t you? You could convert every letter into a number and you could just look at pages of numbers. And actually it gets really quite interesting when you do that because it shows some remarkable things that God has embedded into the Bible, almost like a number code with it within the Scriptures itself.

  8. 5:13

And when you combine the number code with the actual symbology of the number, well, hopefully when we get to it, hopefully it doesn’t get too complex, but you’ll see that no human being on this earth ever could have written this book. It’s just the most astounding thing that God has done in terms of numbers. Does anybody know where this title comes from? The wonderful number?

  9. 5:41

Has anybody read this phrase before? The wonderful number Well, actually, it’s probably, it is in your Bible. In fact, it’s in most people’s Bibles. And what I’ve done is scanned in my own Bible, which is just here. And this is taken from Daniel chapter 8. And the reason it’s in your Bible and that you might not have read it is well, I’ll show you.

  10. 6:06

So I’m focusing right in here on this verse 13. Can you all see this? So here’s verse 13. And in verse 13 is basically in Daniel chapter 8, talking about two angels that are talking to each other and they’re described as Saints. It’s got one St. speaking to another St. but those are angels.

  11. 6:27

It really means 2 holy ones talking to each other. But there’s a very interesting thing in the margin because one of these angels is given a title. And in the central margin, look, it says that one of them has got the title, the Hebrew title of Palmoni. I don’t know if that’s exactly how you say it, but that’s how it’s spelled. Pal moni.

  12. 6:52

So one of the angels is given the title pal Moni, and what that actually means in the Hebrew is given their look in the margin, the wonderful number. So one of these angels that was talking has given been given a title, the wonderful number. And this particular Angel goes on and tells Daniel a specific number of days to do with the prophecy. So God quite clearly has given an Angel in heaven his title that you are chief numberer.

  13. 7:29

You’re a wonderful numberer. Now that must mean, of course, because God has given this Angel this ability to do wonderful things with numbers, that God himself is a wonderful numberer because you, you know, God has bestowed his power on this Angel. But isn’t it amazing that there is an Angel in heaven whose job is to do with numbers?

  14. 7:52

Now, we’re not going to look at this prophecy or anything like it, OK? But I’m just showing you that there is an Angel in heaven given this title, the wonderful number. Now, numbers crop up all the way through the Bible. And since I’ve been thinking about this talk over the last month when we’ve been doing the readings, it’s just amazing how many numbers are there.

  15. 8:16

And you sort of read it and skip over it. But once your brain gets focused in on it, you just see numbers everywhere. So what sort of numbers are there in the Bible? What sort of numbers are we going to read? Well, not, yeah, not the actual, sorry. What types of numbers is a better question. So there’s all the numerical different numbers that are in there.

  16. 8:39

So where I was, the question was hopefully going to get these sorts of answers. So you get dates in the Bible. They’re numbers, aren’t they? We get dimensions in the Bible and we get defined objects in in the Bible. So in other words, we might be told it’s the fifth day of the 5th month of a certain year. It’s all numbers, isn’t it?

  17. 8:59

We might be told that the ark is so many cubits by so many cubits and the and the Tabernacle is so many. So numbers, we might be told there’s a certain number of sheep or there’s a certain number of fish or there’s a certain number of people. It’s all numbers. And what somebody’s done, and this certainly wasn’t me, is gone through the Bible to see how many Bible verses contain a number. And they reckon that 1/5 of the Bible verses that contain a number.

  18. 9:29

That’s amazing. And as I say, once you get into this, you’ll suddenly see, gosh, there’s a number and there’s another one, and there’s another one, and they’re all through the Bible. Now, what I want to, first of all just show you is that God really does love numbers. Tell me, how do we know that God loves numbers?

  19. 9:52

What’s 1 of the things that we’re told about that God does? That really is quite amazing from a numbering point of view. Counts the stars. Uh huh. Right. So God counts the stars, and not only does he count them, but he names them. Now just stop and think about this just for a minute, because there are a lot of stars. So I go on the Internet to find out how many stars there are, and of course nobody knows, do they? Nobody’s actually physically counted them. It’s impossible.

  20. 10:23

But here’s the best guess. And this figure came up on NASA and a number of different websites as to the number of stars there are. It’s the number one followed by 24 zeros. Now, to put that in some sort of context, supposing we thought, look, let’s get planet Earth counting stars. Let’s get every man, woman and child onto this project and let’s all have a go at it.

  21. 10:48

And what we’re going to do, there’s 7 billion people on the Earth right now. Let’s just pretend everyone is capable of counting a different star. And what we’re going to do is say to every man, woman and child is every second you’re going to count a different star. So on one second, that’s 7 billion stars all different of being counted. On 2nd 2, there’s another 7 billion stars counted. And so the seconds go on.

  22. 11:16

How much time goes by with the world counting 1:00 every single second? That’s a 7 billion, seven billion, 7 billion, seven billion. How long till we’ve counted the stars? 7 years. It isn’t seven years, and it isn’t even 70 years. It’s not 700 years. It’s not 7000 years. It’s not 70,000 years. It’s over 400,000 years, 400,000 years, 7 billion.

  23. 11:51

Every single second. And God not only is counted that lot, but is given every single one of them a name. And just to put that even more in context, the amazing thing was because I decided to look at how much sand there is on the earth because there’s verses, aren’t there that say sand and stars are equated. And you know something on a totally different website, they came out with an almost identical type of figure as to the calculation of approximate number of grains of sand on the earth.

  24. 12:24

So next time you’re sat on the beach, just do me a favour. Pick up a handful of sand and in it you’ve probably got hundreds of thousands of grains, haven’t you? In one handful. And every single one of those grains is a star some hundreds of times the size of our sun. And everyone is named, everyone is counted.

  25. 12:47

And then just look at the beach that you sat on that might stretch on for half a mile or more. And everyone is a star on that on on that beach, because every grain is equivalent to a star and everyone is counted and everyone is named. And then think maybe you’re in some desert area like this where there’s hundreds of miles of sand, however many feet deep, and every single grain is counted and everyone is a star and every single one is named.

  26. 13:14

And then think of all the sand in all the world, and every single one is a star, and everyone is counted and everyone is named. Now that to me is astounding. Do you think God is a wonderful number? It’s beyond all comprehension. The other thing we’re told, of course, is that he numbers the hairs of our head.

  27. 13:37

It’s an easy job with some people in the room, but there’s more with there’s more with others. There’s an easier job. So God can Passover a few of you fairly rapidly. But they say that on average, and nobody sits there and counts hairs on hair, do they? I don’t know if anybody’s bothered to say wonder how many hairs I’ve got on my own head. You wouldn’t.

  28. 14:00

How could you do it? But they reckon every person at some point in their life has had at least 100,000 hairs on their head. And so when you multiply that by billions and all the people that have ever lived, you get enormous numbers. And he probably doesn’t even stop there because if God’s going to count the hairs on your head, he’s probably, I mean, why would he do that?

  29. 14:20

But he loves counting. He knows exactly what he’s made and he counts it. I think he probably even knows the cells in our body and probably knows the genetic code that goes on and on and on inside us all, and probably even the atoms as well that that make everything up. It’s the most astounding brain that God has, has got.

  30. 14:43

So God most certainly is a wonderful number. And it’s not therefore surprising, is it, that it’s all in his, in his word. He loves numbers. Now we might say, well, OK, God loves numbers, He counts things, but how do we know that numbers are symbolic?

  31. 15:05

And there’s a number of place in the Bible, I think that we can look at that prove that the that the numbers are symbolic. But I think probably one of the key passages for me is the one that we actually had as a reading, which is well, we actually read from the in the record in Matthew, but here it is in Mark chapter 8. Let me just put this in context.

  32. 15:26

OK, so the Lord Jesus Christ with his disciples on two different occasions fed different numbers of people. Do you remember this with some fish and, and bread? And on the 1st occasion he fed 5000 people and he used 5 loaves and two fish and they gathered together afterwards 12 baskets. And on the second occasion he fed 4000 people with 7 loaves and two fish and they gathered in seven baskets.

  33. 15:57

And sometime later the disciples were chewing the cud about all of this and wondering what, what on earth it was about. And Jesus sort of stopped them and said, wait a minute. He said, do you remember when I when I fed the when I fed the 5000 people with the five loaves, what number of baskets were leftover? And they said was 123.

  34. 16:18

Well, there were 12 baskets. And then he said, you know, the second time when I fed the 4000 people and I used 7 loaves, Do you remember how many baskets? What was the number of the baskets? And I went one to the there were seven. There were 7 baskets. He said yes. And he said this don’t you understand? You think what?

  35. 16:42

You’ve only asked me how many number of baskets we’ve collected. We’re debating this whole thing and you just ask us for the numbers and then you say, don’t you understand? In other words, Jesus said, I’ve, I’ve asked you for the number, you should understand just by telling me the number. Does that make sense?

  36. 17:02

Now to the disciples? I think they’d have gone away and said, right, He said the number. What, what does #12 mean? It must mean something more than just the number. Because he said, don’t you understand what this is all about just from the numbers? And therefore the disciples, I think, would have said, of course we know what number 12 means, and of course we know what #7 means, and we know what all these other numbers mean.

  37. 17:25

Now he’s given us the clue to go and look at the numbers. Now we understand well if it’s surely right for the disciples to work out what the numbers mean, is it not right for us? So the question then is how do we unlock the code? And that’s what we’re going to do.

  38. 17:43

We’re going to unlock the code. We’re going to, we’re going to unlock all the numbers 1 to 9, and we’re going to unlock the number 12. There are many other numbers if we had time, that we could unlock. And we’re going to be pushed to do the 9. Now, anybody know where we need to go to unlock all those numbers 1 to 9 and #12 where do we need to go?

  39. 18:07

Creation is a good answer. So come to Genesis chapter 1. And in Genesis chapter 1, we can unlock all the numbers. Now you’ve all got a worksheet. And on that sheet you’ll see numbers 1 to 9 down the left and #12 and then there’s a column that says a keyword. And what I’m going to show you is that on each of the days that God created something, there is a keyword that gives us the SIM, the symbolic meaning of that number. I’m going to tell you what that what what that word is. And if you agree with it, because you might want to check it yourself, write it on the bit of paper. And then I’m also going to give you additional meanings to that word as well, because it’s like a big word that covers the whole thing, but lots of subheadings as well. Now, the reason we’ve gone back to Genesis, of course, is because it’s the first record of numbers. Now these are ordinal numbers, OK? So this is the first and the 2nd and the 3rd and the 4th and the 5th and the 6th and the 7th, but they’re still numbers, OK? So we’re looking at the first occurrence of the number one, the first occurrence of the number 2, and so on. And buried into Genesis 1 and the creative account is all the symbolic meaning of those 1st 7 numbers because obviously we got the 7th day as well when God rested, which we’ll look at. So here we go, we’re on day one.

  40. 19:48

And on the first day, of course, it says in the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. The earth was without form, void, darkness. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, let there be light. God saw that the light was good. God divided the light from darkness. God called the light day and the darkness he called night and the evening and the morning with the first day. So there’s the number one.

  41. 20:11

That is actually the number one in in Hebrew. So the day one you could say, anybody want to hazard a guess as to the keyword that number one is symbolic of? It’s in that passage there. It’s God, OK, it is the, it is God. So God is the keyword for #1 Now here’s why number one is the keyword for number one.

  42. 20:46

The first thing is this is to do with unity, isn’t it? So we’ve got #1 it’s a whole number, and it is to do with unity. And you could say oneness. It is also to do with truth. Do you remember in the New Testament it says there’s one faith, there’s one Lord, there’s one God. I’m saying this in the wrong order. There’s one baptism.

  43. 21:09

OK, so it’s all to do with unity, not division. And of course, from a mathematical point of view #1 is in every single number, so every single whole number. So if I said how many ones are in 3, you would say three. If I said how many ones are in 1000, you’d say 1000.

  44. 21:26

And just as there’s a one in every single solitary number, God is everywhere in everything that is whole, so #1 is God. And of course, there’s a verse that that backs this up in Deuteronomy chapter 6 that says here, O Israel, the Lord your God is 1. I am #1 OK, now whether we get chance to search on this or not, I don’t know.

  45. 21:59

But the very bizarre thing is, of course, that in the Hebrew the word for God is Elohim. And believe it or not, the word elohim is plural. Every time you read the word God in the Bible, it’s actually plural. Elohim is plural. And you might say, well, why doesn’t it say in the beginning there were gods?

  46. 22:21

Because the Hebrew is saying in the beginning plural God. But it then says he does this and he does the other. And he said this. So it talks about a singular person, but God is plural. And we’ll touch on why that is. But God, believe me, is just one being with form, with great power. But amazingly his name behind the scenes is plural. But the bottom line is God is 1.

  47. 22:48

God hear, O Israel, the Lord your God is one. OK, so I’ll try and explain why the actual name of God has got plurality built into it. So here’s day 2. Anybody remember what God did on Day 2?

  48. 23:09

He separated exactly. So what he then did, look, on Day 2, God said let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters and let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made the firmament and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament. And it was.

  49. 23:25

So when you’re reading about firmament, what’s a better word in our language for firmament could say sky. What’s the atmosphere? God created the atmosphere around the world. Any ideas what the keyword might be for #2? It’s in there, no divided. So the keyword for number 2 is divide or divided. And of course, if you divide #2 into any number, what, what are you going to do to it? You’re going to have it every single time, aren’t you #2 is about division.

  50. 24:03

So let’s just have a little bit, let’s have another look a little bit further at at this one then. So it’s to do with division. But what is God actually dividing? Well, let’s have, let’s have a think about this to start with, you know, sort of with the waters. There were some that were taken into the heaven, weren’t there?

  51. 24:19

And some that were left on earth. What do you think? Right. So sums, sums on earth and sums in heaven and what this is actually showing us really from a God actually did do that, but actually what he was really showing us was something great because what do you think the heavenly water is symbolising?

  52. 24:42

So we’ve got earthly water left on earth and heavenly water up in the sky. What might the stuff in the heaven be and the stuff on the earth be? 1 is feeding the other, isn’t it the? Water in the sky feeding. Yeah, so you got the water, but what what are heavenly things versus earthly things, good and evil? Heavenly things are godly.

  53. 25:04

Earthly things in the Scriptures are evil. So you’ve got God’s ways, you’ve got man’s ways. And isn’t the whole Bible about the division of good and evil?

  54. 25:17

It’s about saying God’s ways and, and your instinct ways and I want you to try and get on to my ways. So the division in the Bible as you go through it is all about the separation of God’s ways from man’s ways, heavenly ways from earthly ways. And it is a division. The Bible says it’s separation as well.

  55. 25:38

So we’ve got to divide and, and separate. Here’s a verse in Leviticus 20, verse 26. And God says to his people, including us, I want you to be holy. For me, the word holy means separate. For I the Lord am holy, I the Lord am separate, and I have divided you from other people.

  56. 26:03

So there are two things going on now. So to start with day one, that’s God and it’s unity. Day 2, there’s now division, and there’s good and evil, and #2 is symbolic of division. But the subheadings you might want to write down is subdivision of good and evil, God’s ways, man’s ways. OK, right #3 a bit of a clue what God did on the third day there.

  57. 26:34

He created plants. So here’s what we read all in Genesis 1. God said, let the earth bring forth grass and the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself upon the earth. And it was so. And the earth brought forth grass and the herb yielding seed after its kind, and the tree yielding fruit whose seed was in itself after his kind. And God saw that it was good.

  58. 26:57

And the evening in the morning with the third day, this is #3 What do you think the keyword is in all of that? The answer is seed. You see, the word seed crops up all the way through here. Now, I don’t know if you’re in Genesis 1, how many different things are we told that we’re going to bring forth seed? And what are they?

  59. 27:27

Have a look. It’s in verse 11. Try again. Try again 3 So we’ve got grass, herb, and tree. Is that true? Grass, herb, and tree. There’s three things bringing forth the seed, grass, herb, and tree. Now what is seed all about then? So let’s have a think about seed. So what seed is all about is about descendants #3 is about multiplication.

  60. 28:16

It’s about reproduction. So we know, don’t we, that God said to Abraham, I’m going to give you lots of descendants, and it’s going to be through your seed. And in effect, you know, man and woman have got seed built into them. And when those two, when the egg and the sperm come together, then we create in life.

  61. 28:36

But their seed that God sees it as seed. And that is why it’s all to do with descendants. So when God says I’m going to great you make you a great nation, it will be your seed that there literally is seed involved. And ultimately the same applies with plants, doesn’t it? So a plant has got seed and what does it do? But that seed, you know, gets germinated and now grows into an identical bit of plant that was, you know, the the parent of it in effect.

  62. 29:03

So #3 is all to do with seed. Now again, you know, there’s two stories to seed, is there not? The seed of the serpent and the seed of the woman. And what chapter does that appear in, in the Bible, in Genesis? Where do we read about Genesis? The seed of the woman in the Genesis chapter 3. Interesting, isn’t it?

  63. 29:26

In the 3rd chapter we read all about the seed of the serpent and the seed of the woman. Now the seed of the serpent is to do with what sin and the seed of the woman is to do with

  64. 29:42

Jesus. Jesus, and ultimately those who are part of that seed, that part of those people who follow him. Yeah, have a look at this. So this is the Lord God talking in Genesis 26, verse 4. I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of the heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries, and in thy seed shall all nations of the earth be blessed. So seed is to do with people multiplication. But once again, we’ve got a division going on between two types of seed.

  65. 30:18

Happy with that right #4 What did God do on the 4th day? Bit of a clue on the screen. He made the sun, moon and stars. Now says let them be for lights in the sky, in the firmament of the heaven, to give light upon the earth. And it was so. And God made 2 great lights, the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night. And he made the stars as well, just like that. And God set, set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good and the evening in the morning with the 4th day.

  66. 31:00

What do you think the keyword is on day 4? No, no, no, no, no, but you’re getting closer. Shall I show you what it is? Now, the reason that it is earth is this. If you have a look in your Bible at verse, let’s have a look here. So verse 14, which isn’t on the screen, it says let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and for years. Who is getting the signs in the seasons and the days in the earth?

  67. 32:03

How many things are the lights in the heaven giving on earth? What I’ve just listed out how many things there? There’s four. So the signs, seasons, days and years, there’s four things that are happening on planet Earth given by how many objects in the sky? What are the three categories that we’re giving you the answer? How many things are in the sky?

  68. 32:29

There’s the sun, moon, stars. So there are three things in the heavens giving 4 things on Earth. Does that make sense? Interestingly #3 is to do with what seed. Now, what is the sun symbolic of in the Bible? Jesus. How do we know that the sun is symbolic of Jesus? Because it’s called the Sun of Righteousness, SUN of righteousness, right? So there’s the sun, there’s Jesus. Is he one of the chosen seed?

  69. 33:07

Think so? What are the stars symbolic of in the Bible? It tells us in Daniel the Saints. So the stars now are the Saints. And what is the moon symbolic of in the Bible? Shall I tell you the Ecclesia? Because the we’ve got no natural light of ourselves, have we? But we reflect the light of Jesus, who is the sun into the darkness of the world.

  70. 33:33

So individually we like stars, but the moon is like the collective congregation and the, and the sun himself is the Lord Jesus Christ. And therefore in the sky, God says there are three things that are casting light upon the earth for signs, for seasons and for days and for years. And brothers and sisters, that’s exactly what we do, is it not?

  71. 33:54

We tell people through the seminars, this is what’s happening in the earth. Here’s the signs, here’s the seasons. This is what’s happening, otherwise you wouldn’t have a clue, would you? So there are three things in the heavens giving 4 things upon Earth. Now, interestingly, of course, the number 4 links very much into planet Earth, because what, what numbers, what sort of things tie in with #4 that are all to do with the Earth? So we’ve got Four Seasons.

  72. 34:25

The whole Earth is affected by Four Seasons. What’s another very obvious one that’s got 4 but covers the entire Earth? What’s the compass? Points to the compass. It’s the number 4 is all to do with the complete earth. Now, interestingly, it is to do with the entire earth, but from God’s point of view, there’s again, division, isn’t there? Because the entire earth is made-up of two sets of people. They are what’s another way of putting, what’s another way of putting it, Jews and Gentiles.

  73. 35:03

So when you actually read about the number four in the Bible, it often is to do with encompassing Gentile as well as Jew, because it’s the entire earth #4 is to do with the entire earth, not just a bit of it, the entire earth, Gentile and Jew. And here in Acts 13, verse 47, it says, I have set you to be a light. There we are.

  74. 35:26

Look, there’s the light that we’re, we’re shining, we’re the seed of the Gentiles that thou should it be for salvation to the ends of the earth. So the whole of the Gentiles are going to come in and that will be the ends of the earth. Happy with that. Number 4 is earth, the entire earth subheadings, Jew and Gentile right #5 What did God make on Day 5? And creatures.

  75. 35:57

Not animals, Well, it’s unless you want to class fish and birds. So God made fish and birds. So it says here in verse 20, God said let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that has life and fowl that may fly above the heaven, above the earth in the open firmament. And God created great whales and every living creature that moves, and the waters brought forth abundantly after their kind, and every wing foul after his kind.

  76. 36:24

And God saw that it was good. And God bless them, saying, be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters and the seas and let the fowl multiply in the earth and the evening in the morning with the 5th day. Now then, what do you think the keyword is in that? It’s not multiply, it’s not move so long, those sorts of lines. The keyword is life.

  77. 36:52

It’s life because this is the first life, isn’t it? OK, plants got a type of life, but this is a living, breathing, moving creature. The keyword is life. Now it’s interesting. There’s two types of life here. There’s some life in the water and there’s some life in the heavens. Which one do you think came first? Or do you think it all happened at the same time? What does the Bible sort of give you an indication of what comes first, the fish and then the birds? Because if you look at the order, it says that’s basically what he’s doing, isn’t it?

  78. 37:29

God said, let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that has life, the fowl that fly of the heaven. So you’ve got the moving creature that has life, but it’s like it’s starting in the waters. Does that make sense? So God starts bubbling away, making life in the waters, and then he starts making life in the heavens. In other words, it’s almost as if God is taking life out of the water.

  79. 37:57

He starts off in the water with these fish and whales, and then he starts making the stuff in the heavens. He almost takes these creatures and makes life up in the open heavens. So God created great whales and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly. So it’s like everything was being made from the waters. That’s how it sounds to me.

  80. 38:19

Does it to you a little bit. So I mean, obviously this goes totally against the evolution that says the fish crawled out, became an animal, and then the animals climbed trees and then threw themselves off in a suicidal manner and lo and behold, started flying. So but of course life isn’t is, is actually there’s deeper sub meanings here because life is also to do with salvation, isn’t it?

  81. 38:47

Because we are saved if we’re given life. And of course we’ve also got new life here coming from water. We’re told that the waters bought 4 things abundantly. So we’ve got new life. And I think there’s also a sub, sub heading here of baptism because we are taking people out of water and giving them life. In the New Testament, we’re told to be fishers of men. So we’re lifting people out the water. So I think the birds that God created a symbolic of those who are following God, they’ve lifted out the water. They’re in the heavens.

  82. 39:25

And the fish that are left in the sea, well, they’re people who are swimming around, you know, effectively the fish are symbolic of those who are heading towards death because they’re buried under the water. And we go and lift them out, don’t we? At baptism, we literally lift them out the water. And so I think the birds we’ve got up in the in the heavens, a symbolic of of, of those who’ve been saved and given life. And the fish that are left in the water are those who are still in, in death.

  83. 39:55

And the other word, and of course this links in as well very much with this particular number is grace. So quite often you’ll hear that number 5 is symbolic of grace. And of course it is. It is true, because we can’t say to God you must give me life. Because we can’t, we can’t demand God. It’s through his grace.

  84. 40:15

He says, Mark, you’ve got life. John, you’ve got life. Alfie, you’ve got life. We can’t demand it, can we? So it’s through God’s grace that we’re given life. And these two words come together, baptism and life, because this is to do with water and life. In Romans 6, verse 4, we’re buried with Him by baptism into death, just like the fish under the water there, like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, Even so, we should walk in a new life.

  85. 40:44

We like pulled out of water, and now we’ve got a new life. So #5 is all to do with life, and you’ll often see it when you lock on to this number. Water is involved. The five stones that David took out, where did he take them out of? Took them out of the water, didn’t he? You suddenly see this cropping up #6 well, this is what I’m, I’m presuming they weren’t galloping around quite like that.

  86. 41:17

But anyway, God made animals and man. On the 6th day, God made animals and man. So I’m not going to read all of that, but John’s already told us actually what number six is symbolic of what’s the keyword in there? Man, man is what number six and now beast does come into it absolutely odd.

  87. 41:44

So but man is the keyword. The number of man is number six and and here’s what what we know. So man without God is definitely like a beast, would we say? In fact, we’re told that man without God is like the beast that perish. There’s no difference. But man with God is like God. Man without God, like a beast, is a man in sin, isn’t it? So sin becomes symbolic of #6 as well. Man with God is like a son of God, and he’s in the image of God.

  88. 42:22

And that’s all to do with forgiveness. So there’s two types of men. One got one man like God and another good man not like God. The man who is like God is the one who’s got rid of his sin, because then he becomes a son of God. Now see, Ollie was right all along, because there we are in Revelation and here is wisdom.

  89. 42:42

Let him that has understanding count the number of the beast, for it is the number of man. It is the number 666, 666. Now that’s interesting because it isn’t just six, is it? It’s 666. So there are three sixes #3 means seed. So we’ve got here the seed of the serpent. We’ve got the seed of sin and man, every man has sinned. We’re all in the same boat.

  90. 43:21

Our number is 666 and it’s the same as the beast, right #7 What happens on the 7th day? What did God do? And guess what the keyword is? And there it is, He rested, He rested. Keyword is rest. It’s a nice picture isn’t it, that Janet will paint that for us later. And here is the sub themes to this. So we’ve got completion because when God rested on the 7th day, he completed.

  91. 43:57

It was all to do with perfection because he said it’s all very good. And we read in Hebrews on the 7th day God rested from all his work. So God’s rest is there for people to enter. But those who first heard this good news failed to end because they disobeyed God. So God set another time for entering his rest, which of course is in the Kingdom.

  92. 44:21

Now, wonderful thing is when you actually put all of this up on the screen, you can see we’ve got, I’ve got numbers one to six down here. So we’re saying God is number 1 and God is mentioned and only God is mentioned there. Then we’ve got #2 which is division. And we, we were told that there was waters above and waters below. Then we’re told that the seed and we’re told that there were three types of things that gave seed. Grass, urban tree.

  93. 44:48

Then we’re told #4 is the earth. And there were 4 signs. Given signs, seasons, days and years #5 is to do with life. And we’re actually told there were insects, birds, whales, another type of fish, and another type of bird. So there were five types of birds and fish mentioned. Number six, we’re told that there were creatures, cattle, creeping things, beast, man, and of course we also know woman was made on that day as well. So there were six things that God made there. And in terms of the rest, when you go through it, there are 7 statements about when God rested. When you go through it, there’s a little semi colon after each one and there are 7 statements to do with God resting. So though there’s a little bit of a, a chart there, and I think all of that, you know, explains God’s plan and purpose. So his plan and purpose is this.

  94. 45:44

God created the heavens and the earth. He then divided the world into good and evil. He created a nation, a seed through Abraham. And that nation was Israel. Initially only direct descendants of Abraham could be saved, but then we get Jesus, the light of the world, and he established the ecclesia. They were able to create life from water by taking people out of water through baptism. The whole world was now part of God’s plan. Man was finally in the image of God, IE we could become in the image of God through the forgiveness of sin. The plan is complete.

  95. 46:28

It’s finished. That is the days of creation written out in in in some sort of code. There’s three of the numbers I quickly want to explain to you that aren’t obviously in the first seven days. The first number I want to explain. This is very helpful to know this particular number. This is a very, very important number.

  96. 46:51

We got the seven days of creation. What would the 8th day be? The first one again? It’s the new day. It’s a new beginning and it’s to do with resurrection as well. What actual day is the 8th day by the way? Sunday. Sunday. The Sunday is the first day because the Sabbath is the Is the Saturday the 7th day?

  97. 47:18

So the 8th day is the new day. Today is the 8th day. This is all to do a new beginning. Anybody know what #9 might be symbolic of #9 is to do with finality and the end? It is the last single digit number. Do you realise if you multiply any number by 9 and you add those remaining numbers together, it will always always add up to 9?

  98. 47:48

So 9 * 9 is 81, eight plus one is 9/4 times 9 is 36, three plus 6 is 9. And it doesn’t matter how big a number you get, it will always, always come back to 99. Is to do with the end. It’s to do with finality, it’s to do with judgement. Therefore, really what you’ve got here is the beginning and the end.

  99. 48:13

You’ve got the alpha and Omega. They’re put together. Those those two numbers come together like that, right #12 anybody know what number 12 is symbolic of?

  100. 48:27

Yeah, government and rulership. The reason #12 is symbolic of that is that is because 3 * 4 is 12. You’ve got three being the siege. You’ve got 4 being the earth. And the seed ruling the earth is therefore rulership over the entire earth. So that’s why there are 12 tribes, 12 disciples who will rule over the 12 parts of the Kingdom in in the future.

  101. 48:57

It’s government and rulership. Now then let’s see if we can rattle through some of these. There’s the ark. How many people walked off the ark? 8 What does #8 mean? A new beginning, a new beginning? Was this a new beginning? It was a new beginning, wasn’t it? Do you think it was a coincidence it was eight people that walked off the ark? I don’t think so.

  102. 49:24

I think if we were decoding the numbers, you’d say, aha, there’s the new beginning. It’s eight people. Not six people or two people, but eight people. What about this? Anybody know what’s going on here? Abraham. There’s Abraham being visited by 3 angels. It says men, but we we end up finding out that they were angels. Now, what is significant about the conversation that these three angels are having with Abraham? What did they gone there to tell him? Not no, he’s going to have a son. He’s going to have a son.

  103. 50:01

He said, we’re going to tell you all about the seed that you’re going to have. And Sarah sat sat in the tent thinking, Well, that’s a joke because I’m like pretty ancient. And Abraham’s there thinking, gosh, they’ve come to tell me about the seed. Do you think it’s a coincidence that it was three people talking about the seed?

  104. 50:19

Because what does 3 actually, what’s 3 symbolic of seed? Now, here’s an amazing thing. So these three turn up and talk to Abraham. One of them disappears somewhere, and two out of the three go somewhere. Where did they then go? They went to Sodom and Gomorrah. So how many angels turned up at Sodom and Gomorrah?

  105. 50:44

22 angels, it says Genesis 19 verse one. Two angels came to Sodom. Now why is it 2 angels and not 3 angels or one Angel or they’re dividing. They’ve gone there to divide. They’ve gone there to separate what good from evil. How many people came out of Sodom? No, three, but one. Three. There was actually 4, but one of them turned back. There was Lot, his wife and two daughters, but his wife got turned into a pillar of assault.

  106. 51:27

So only three people were rescued, which 3 is to do with the seed. And God was saying I don’t keep my seed going. I’m not going to let my seed be destroyed. I’m going to keep my seed going. Make sense? Do you see all these numbers are there? They’re not coincidence. As soon as you got the code, it’s easy to unlock it.

  107. 51:47

Let me just quickly do this one for you. So here’s Jesus doing what? Feeding the 5000. Feeding. Well, he could be feeding the five or he could be feeding the four. We don’t really know because we can’t count them on there. Now there were two feedings. Matthew 14 tells us about when he fed 5000 people with five loaves with two fish and collected 12 baskets. Matthew 15 months later, Jesus feeds 4000 people with 7 loaves with two fish and seven baskets.

  108. 52:16

We started off by looking at this and we said, Jesus said you counted the baskets, what was the number? Don’t you understand? What can we understand? Can we unlock this? The clue here though is that this first group here and haven’t got time to explain how we know this, but was predominantly to Jewish people.

  109. 52:38

This group over here was predominantly to do with Gentile people. The clue actually is in the word baskets because they’re different, entirely different words. These baskets here were very small ones that the Jews used and these baskets over here were much larger Gentile type baskets. It’s a totally different word in the original Greek.

  110. 52:57

And also there were different areas. This area was a Gentile area. This area was a Jewish area. So here’s Jews, here’s Gentiles. So Jesus goes and he feeds 5000 people with five loaves and gets 12 baskets. What is 5 symbolic of life and grace? It’s we can’t demand. We can’t demand from God.

  111. 53:24

You should give me life because I’ve done this, this, this and the other. And the lesson the Jews had to learn was that we get life through grace. And if you can understand that, then what is the 12 symbolic of

  112. 53:44

rulership? You will be my righteous rulers over the earth. If you, if you do this, if you understand it’s not the law, it is by grace you are saved, then you will be my rulers of this earth. Now the Gentile message was different. Now what is the #4 symbolic of earth including Jew and Gentiles. So This is why it’s 4000 here, because it’s, it’s indicating it’s to do with the Gentiles.

  113. 54:14

But here the message is 7 and seven. The key ones are where the numbers repeated. So we’ve got 7 and seven and five and five. So the key numbers here are 7 and 7. 7 is to do with what? Completion. Completion and perfection. How do we get perfection? How do we become perfect?

  114. 54:37

Through baptism and the forgiveness of sin. The thing that the Gentiles had to realise is that they needed to be perfect before God because a Gentile didn’t even know they were sinful, did they? They had no concept of sin. If they went and killed some, you did something, they didn’t actually know if they were doing right or wrong.

  115. 54:56

Jesus says you’ve got to understand before God, you’ve got to get rid of sin and become perfect. And that is the message here. It’s to do with the forgiveness of sin and becoming perfect. These guys knew that. They understood that they had to do things right, but their message was you’ve got to do it and it’s grace.

  116. 55:15

You can’t earn it. These people didn’t even know about that and their message was you’ve got to get rid of your sin. Little bit later on, the Lord Jesus Christ, after his raise from the dead, he sat on the beach and we are told the most amazing thing. The disciples had tried catching fish all, all day and all night and had caught the grand, grand total of nothing, not a fish.

  117. 55:40

Jesus gets in the boat and says right, cast over to the right, pull it in. Now how many? Count your fish. And they counted the fish and it says there were 153 fish. And then he says them go and preach to the world, go and look out. Go and go and convert people, go and become fishes of men and rescue people. And the $1,000,000 question is why are we told the exact number of fish?

  118. 56:09

We’re told there’s 153 of these things, right? Number one is, is what? God #5 is what? Expand it #5 is what? Salvation through water and baptism, taking something out the water. And then what do we get? Seed. And that, you know, is why God’s name is plural. Because God isn’t just about him.

  119. 56:44

God is about creating a whole lot of mini gods. That’s exactly what he’s going to do when we get it finally into the Kingdom. We made him mortar with no temptation and we’re the true sons of God living with him One day on this earth at the end of the Millennium, we become, I’m not saying there isn’t a hierarchy, but we become as gods at that point with ultimate power and ultimate knowledge and ultimate ability of living forever without temptation.

  120. 57:13

And God in his own name, Elohim is saying it isn’t just about me. I’m going to create lots of gods, lots of people like me. And here is God through grace, through the water, pulling people out becomes this amazing seed that he’s that he’s after. Interesting. Have you got 2 minutes or you sure this is, there’s three slides left? Because this is now me just showing you very quickly that it all goes to a much better, say better, deeper level again, because as I said to you, actually every single Hebrew letter has got an equivalent number. So there’s all the Hebrew letters, there’s the equivalent numbers, and it’s the same in the Greek. So there’s all the Greek letters and there’s all their equivalent numbers.

  121. 58:08

Let me just show you one or two pretty amazing things here. Is the name Jesus in the Greek? Anybody want to try and add those? So there’s the letters. Here’s their values. What do you think that little lot adds up to? Do you think that’s a coincidence? What’s 8 all about? Was this a new beginning? Mentioned three times, he’s the new beginning. He’s the chosen seed.

  122. 58:38

He is the seed that was promised at the very beginning, starting here. It isn’t a coincidence that his his own number is 888. What is even more remarkable is this. Every single title of Jesus in the Bible is divisible by 8. Christ has got a value of 1480, which is 8 times 185. Saviour has got a value of 1408, which is 8 * 1 seven 6 Lord is the value of 800, which is 8 * 100. Messiah is 656, which is 8 * 82.

  123. 59:14

Son of Man has got a value of 2960, which is 8 * 370. Jesus Christ has got a value of 2368, which is 8 * 296. The chances of that are one in 750,000. In other words, somebody has designed it to be that way. And the last one I was going to show you is, is this.

  124. 59:38

So this is the first verse of the first verse of the Bible. In the beginning, God, Elohim created the heavens and the earth. So we’re reading that way because Hebrew goes like that. Let me just give you some facts about this one tiny little verse. How many words are there do you think?

  125. 1:00:01

In this first verse there are 7 words. And now we’re on to it because suddenly you’ll find that the sevens right the way through just this first verse. God saying I’m complete, this is perfection. Have a listen to some of this. So there are 7 words in the first verse of the Bible. They have exactly 28 letters, which is 7 * 4. So if you add up all those letters, there’s 28 of them. The first 3 words contain the subject. So that is the subject.

  126. 1:00:37

And this little bit down here is the object. That’s how the sentence is structured. So this is a subject, this is the object. The subject here has got 14 letters, which is 7 * 2, and this bit has got 14 letters, which is 7 * 2. If you take all of the nouns which is God, heavens, and earth, they have 14 letters as well, which is 7 * 2.

  127. 1:01:01

There is one verb in that passage, and that has got a value of 203, which is 7 * 29. If you Add all of the nouns together, they come to 777. So if you add up God, heavens, and earth, you come to a total of 777, which is obviously a multiple of 7. The numerical value of every word, if you take the first and the last letter of every single word is 1393, which is 7 * 199. And so it goes on.

  128. 1:01:33

There’s a page of it and the chance of all these sevens being built into this one verse is 1 in billions. You can’t actually construct it without massive amount of design because just one letter wrong and the whole lot falls apart. It’s amazing design that’s hidden within that. The last slide is this. If you add up the words in the beginning, God, it actually comes to 999.

  129. 1:02:05

What is 9 symbolic of the end, the final. It’s actually to do with the final statement of everything because, well, it’s so, you know, when Jesus says verily, verily, I say unto you, the word verily is the word Amen. He says Amen, Amen. Amen has got a numerical value of 99. It’s the final definitive statement. And the fact is this, this phrase in the beginning God, in the beginning God, is the ultimate definitive statement. It’s the final answer to humanists, atheists, and evolutionists because it is the final definitive statement, and that adds up to 999.

  130. 1:02:51

It is the ultimate end statement. There’s nothing else to say. It’s the final statement. And the last word in the whole Bible is the word Amen, which also in the Greek has the value of 99. It’s the end, it’s complete, it is finished. It’s the final word of the whole thing.

  131. 1:03:12

We could talk more and more, but the bottom line is God is indeed a wonderful number. And hopefully you’ll see as you go through this now, when you start looking at the Bible and start seeing numbers, if you keep that sheet with you, go back to it and I promise you it never, ever, ever fails.
